Okay.. after a year in which nothing really happened around here, I decided it's time for a change. So I stopped being lazy and made a new layout, It's quite simple but I hope you guys like it.

Anyway, the content is pretty much the same, there are only minor changes here and there. So.. not very much of an update ^^; but hey, I'm back! ^^ I might actually start thinking of something new to add.. hm hm

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I'll be very busy with the Uni in September, and there won't be any updates any time soon. Nothing more than just updating the songs at the beginning of the month, anyway, since that won't require much time. I have also modified the deadline for the contest from the same reason.

Hello! I'm back from my vacation (a lovely vacation for amateur astronomers, I must add :D). Anyway, here's the August update, with a bit of delay.. Tunes have been updated as well as the seiyuu page with more.. err.. seiyuu. Also, I have added 2 more volumes of Yui scans, though they are in Japanese -_-. If anyone has a translation, please send me a copy! :D
And also, I haven't received any fanart submission for the contest.... so if you happen to send one it's most likely that you'll win o_@

I'm thinking of running a contest.. I haven't decided what it will be about yet, I do have an idea but I'd like to hear more.. so, if you've got any ideas do contact me and tell me. ^^ But please, keep it Miyu-related.

Ugh! I've recently got my hands on a Miyu track I didn't have! And I thought I had everything that can be found on the net! The song is track #1 from the radio cinema single and it's very beautiful! It reminds me a lot of the Miyu TV series, especially of that sad last episode ;_; I've uploaded the track in the tunes section for your enjoyment. You can also check out the lyrics in the soundtrack section. Well.. ENJOY! xD

Later edit: I've also updated the tunes list with VPM Best Collection CD, VPM CD single and Radio Cinema Single. And I fixed the broken links :|

Another small update, tunes for July have been updated. Also, I have created a Miyu forum because I have received a few suggestions. It's located at kanashii.net/forum. I hope it will grow with time ^^ On another note, I have my last exam tomorrow then I'll start working on a new layout (geez, I REALLY need a new layout). Ok, this is everything for now. Ja ne!

No more secrecy, Kanashii has a new address and that's kanashii.net (yes, you are here ^^;; *dies* ). God, I just did a redirect to the whole directory using the very usefull .htaccess file, nothing fency. I'm in the middle of my exams period and I'm busy, but when I finish with it I'll work on the site, I promise!

Another huge update, folks! This time I have updated the manga scans section. It took me a while to upload all 254 MB of scans that I've recenty got. The songs, the manga releases and the fanart sections have been updated as well.

FINALLY! Finally I have succeeded! Mwahahahaha! What happened, you ask? Well, I have finally set up the .htaccess file to stop the naughty people directlinking my files! For some reason, I thought I can't have a .htaccess file since I'm just an user on my university server.. but I was wrong! I lived with this lie for 2 years! >.< However, I'm extremely happy now xD

April updates are here! whee.. finally.. (yes, the server/ftp problems are gone now, people who joined the newsletter know what I'm talking about).
Anyway, you must all know by now that Kanashii is oficially 2 years old and of course, I wanted to celebrate this event with proper updates. The biggest update is definitely the screenshots section which has been completed and it includes no less than 1,208 high quality images! Believe me, it took forever to finish, since I've also edited the images to look the best and I've also took out the writing where existed (and there were a few).
I've also added the new section I was talking about, shinma in the story submenu (the section is not fully completed though..) and I've replaced the songs with new ones.
As I was saying in the newsletter, I want to change servers/hosts... so don't be surprised when the mp3s will be gone for awhile in order to keep my site "clean" when they come to check it out.
Ok, that would be everything for now... I have some other little stuff to update but that's going to be some other time.. until then, enjoy this month's updates! Ja ne!

Also, I added the Shin Miyu CDs and the Reiha Hitori single in the soundtrack section, along with all the lyrics off all Miyu's songs that exist (except Heartbeat of Shinma, there are no official lyrics for that tune).
On another note, as I'm sure this is my last update for this year, I wish everyone a Merry Little Christmas and I hope Santa will bring you lots of presents ^- ^

I've replaced the OAV screenshots with much higher quality & resolution ones, hehe. I've worked quite a bit on them, because I also edited each one of them in Photoshop to make them look the best (they've been cleaned and clarified and I took off the writing where existed), so please, don't even think about puting them on other websites >.> Thank you.

Ugh.. finally, another update! I added the mp3s page once again. It olny includes 5 tracks, my favorite ones. I might change it into an mp3 rotation page but I'm not sure, I'll see...
I also want to start making a new layout, but I have no idea when this will happen...

Okay.. forget about the mini-forum. Instead, I've decided to link the already existing Vampire Miyu and Yui messagebord miyufan.org. Just go there if you want to meet other Miyu fans or if you have VP Miyu related questions.

Umm.. I just felt like doing this: I added a layout archive for you to enjoy... or to laugh at xD It is located in the sitely submenu.
However, it currently has only half of my layouts since I didn't took screenshots of the others D: If you somehow own any of the missing ones (is this possible?? o_@ ) then please send them to me xD

Well, no real updates, I just made my website work in both IE and Mozilla. I'm really really happy about this. Now there's nothing I have to worry about since Opera or other browsers suck big time and I have no intention to work my ass off on those. However, I heard it's quite impossible to make a website work in all browsers. As for me, I'm limiting myself to IE and Mozilla.
Oh, and I forgot to mention it in my previous update, I've uploaded the Vampire Miyu manga vol. 1 again, because a page was missing ^^;; (between page 5 and page 6), but now it's complete and you can download it again from the manga scans section.

Hello? Yes, folks, this is an update xD Unfortunatelly, this isn't the whole revamp I was planning, but it still is a huge part of it. The rest will come with my next updates.
Now let's see what has changed around here.
First off, yeah, I made a new layout, which works only in Internet Explorer by the way (sorry for that, however I shouldn't worry too much since 95% of my visitors use IE, anyway...). Ok, the layout features Larva (duh!) and the picture is from one of the drama CDs. I actually worked a bit on that picture since it originally had writing on it and I had to edit it out (believe me, that's a big yuck!).
As for the content, I added some info about the soundtrack and the manga volumes and some multimedia like printables and an online store. Yes, Kanashii is now affiliated with AnimeNation =D
I'm also looking for more affiliates and if you're interested then read about how to become one.
I've also added a newsletter (see the sidebar) so you can receive Kanashii updates by e-mail.
Oh, and many things have changed in the sitely sub-menu. I added a questions & answers section, mostly for the other webmasters out here who just seem to take my content without asking. Also, minor changes have been made in the site survey and site background.
I mentioned about the sidebar *points to the left*, which also includes a poll so feel free to vote for your favorite VP Miyu characters.
I guess this is everything, I planned working on the in-depth profiles and adding 2 new sections in the "story" sub-menu, but this requires a re-watching of the episodes and I didn't want you guys to wait too much for this change. However, be sure that I'll be adding those with my future updates.
I'm letting you now to enjoy the new face of Kanashii. Hopefully, new updates will pop up soon.

Hi everyone! According to the site survey results, I took the decision to revamp a lot of Kanashii's content. The problem is that this will take really long time and therefore there won't be any other updates until I finish. However, you can still enjoy what the site currently offers. Hopefully, this revamp will turn Kanashii into a much better Vampire Miyu website xD

Ok, I have some bad news for you: I closed down the mp3s page. We all know mp3s are illegal stuff to keep on a website, so... I took this decision (and if you're wondering - no, I haven't had any problems which led to this).
Anyway, to make up for that, I added name analysis in the information section. Also, expect a revamp of the gallery the next few days, which will include even more high quality pictures ^^

Err.. first of all, I appologize for the inconveniences here at Kanashii, as you may know it's been down quite awhile. Hopefully, everything is back in the line, many thanks to Adrian for solving the server problems.

New updates, folks! I added some manga scans in the multimedia section (I just thought I'd share the scans I have on my HDD). I also added screenshots from the TV series, episodes 1, 2 and 3. That's it for now, my next updates will probably consist in more screenshots, so.. stay tuned! =D

You know, I've always wanted to have an easy-to-navigate website, and that's what I tried to do, cause I've changed navigation a bit as you may notice, but God knows why the "main" link doesn't work! >.< If I don't fix it soon, I'll probably change the navigation back as it was before. If you somehow know what's wrong, please let me know!!

Err... I said I won't update but I just felt like fixing some broken links in the mp3s section. I actually added more mp3s, almost everythnig I have, so... enjoy! ;)

Howdy, there's a new update over here, hah! I added some more wallpepers and fanart. Anyway, there won't be any other updates in the next 4-5 weeks since my exam period has just started. But it's not like you expected new updates that soon, ne? ;)

Did I say I'd update in a week? :O Dang! I'll make sure I'll never say when I update next, since I never keep my word. Gomen!
Anyway, I didn't know the screenshots links didn't work!! But they do work now! And I added OAV 4 as well. And I think that's it for now...

As you may had already noticed, my website had been down for around 2 weeks. Fortunatelly, everything is working properly now and you can visit any of the pages. Also, I've re-opened the screenshots section with shots from OAV 1, 2 and 3. More to come in the near future, but probably not so near as you might think because I've just got a terrible fever and I have to stay in bed. Minor changes had been done to the summaries section as well, but no, I haven't added any summay yet.
I guess that's it! I'm sorry about the site being down for so long.

New layout, it may seem huge but it's not, the design has 45 KB only. However, I just wanted my Miyu site to be darker and I came up with this. I actually like it, it's better than any of my previous designs.
The screenshots section is on hold until I'll find some time to work on it. I intend to take shots off all the episodes, I guess it will turn out pretty cool.

I uploaded everything again in the mp3s section during yesterday and today, so if you tried to download something and it didn't work, this was the reason. But everything is woking properly now, and you can enjoy the wonderful music ^^

Well, not much of an update, but I made an Yahoo Messanger skin featuring Vampire Miyu. It's pretty funny and you can download it from the newest section - skins.

I reviewed the storyline section after I've re-watched "Frozen Time" and "Once Upon a Time" episodes. Now you have 2 different complete storylines of the OAV / TV series. ^^
I've also reviewed a little bit the profiles section and started the work for the Larva and Miyu's relashionship section. It's not finished yet though...

New layout at Kanashii, yay! After a framed layout, an SHTML version and a PHP one, I've decided to go with a framed layout yet again (and to keep it this way!). Yes, folks, this is version 4 of Kanashii ^^

On another note, I've lost the old updates when I uploaded this version, so I'll just go with the updates from now on. I only remember the site opened in April this year, and that I've changed the layout 3 times in less than 4 months. Hopefully, this current layout will last for a few months for sure! I intend to work more on the content now.
